Application Description
Dice Poker + is an excellent poker game!
History
The amazing physical dice game “Down The River” was created in Quito - Ecuador by Roberto Uriarte Salvador in 1998. The game is based on the original 5-card poker game but played with 5 dices that contain a partial deck from 7 to A (32 cards). The strategically placed cards are the key creation that makes possible the different poker hands. Dice Poker + is a digital game adapted from the original game “Down The River” by Marcelo Mejía Cobo (mac+dev+studio).
Gameplay
Play begins with player number 1 throwing the five dices to get 5 different cards. Then the "draw" phase begins where you can hold 1 or more dices. Finally you throw, for the second and last time, the remaining dices to get the Final Hand. And then the turn passes to the next player.
The best hand will always update at the top of the game view. You can check the last 8 hands on the History view.
