The app uses a mix of GPS tracking, cell tower triangulation and WiFi detection to find and report its current location securely to our servers.
Once installed, iOS will automatically launch the app in the background if the device has moved significantly.

Disclaimer: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
