Dear Telephone got together in 2010 gathering Graciela Coelho, André Simão and Paulo Araújo (long time partners in the trip from The Astonishing Urbana Fall to La la la Ressonance) and Pedro Oliveira (occasional accomplice of this same trip and drummer with Peixe: Avião, Old Jerusalem, Green Machine or Kafka)
Dear Telephone is a metaphor for incommunication; standing in line with everyday life, it’s both a cynical and dazzled look over popular culture: from the subtext of a photo novel of predictable outcome to the mannered and sour romance between bookworms: he glances at her, haughty, over his Tropic of Cancer pages, while she poses, dreamy, on the backlighting of a window at the end of the gallery for travel literature.
