Easily and quickly encrypt/decrypt files by simply dragging files onto popup window. DropCrypt uses 256-bit AES Encryption, a standard encryption algorithm, commonly used by businesses and governments. Unlike most of the other encryption algorithms, AES has never been broken. This means your data is 100% safe. Use it to secure private files such as taxes, income statements, etc., prevent data theft from your computer, and securely send files over untrusted email, instant massaging or cloud services.
To encrypt data:
Step 1. Copy your file(s) to a folder.
Step 2. Drag and drop the folder to the designated area.
Step 3. Input your password. Note that if you forget your password all data will be lost.
Step 4. Click the Encrypt button.
Step 5. Select where the encrypted container should be placed.
Step 6. Click Save and wait.
To decrypt data:
Step 1. Drag and drop the encrypted container to the designated area.
Step 2. Input the password you used when you created the encrypted container.
Step 3. Click Decrypt button.
Step 4. Select where you would like to decrypt your container.
Step 5. Click save and wait.
