Application Description
The Dane County Farmers’ Market Application is intended to connect the local and regional community with their local producers – the attendees of the Dane County Farmers’ Market which takes place in Madison, Wisconsin all year round. The Dane County Farmers’ Market is the largest producer only market where the vendors are the producers of what they sell.
Application users can find a variety of information about Vendors, Products, Market Location and Specials.
Vendors – Users can find contact, ordering and product information in addition to how each vendor produces their products.
Products – Users can find a listing of Vendors by Products. This allows the application user to plan their purchases and trip to the Dane County Farmers’ Market. This list changes weekly and allows the patrons of the market to see which products will be available for purchase after being freshly harvested by their local producer and brought to market.
Map – Users can find the location of the market for that week and attain driving directions to that location. Soon the map will allow users to find precisely where each vendor is set up and attendance on a week to week basis.
Specials – This section will provide application users with a listing of Vendor Specials. These can include special deals for the week, notifications about upcoming DCFM or Vendor events.
