Application Description
Welcome to DAM Mobile, the UK's first official mixtape app!
The app will give you access to over 4000 mixtapes and videos of all genres.
Unfortunately at the moment the app will only download tracks locally within the app and not directly to the phone, we are working on this issue so look out for updates coming soon!
Some of the features include
☆ Streaming of over 4000 mixtapes right on your phone
☆ Watch 1000s of video clips, updated everyday
☆ You can browse mixtapes by genre, amount of downloads, amount of listens, date uploaded or alphabetically!
☆ Save your favourite mixtapes to your 'Record Bag'
☆ Lots of different genres, everything from Soul to Dubstep
A lot of the mixtapes on the site are from the UK, but anyone is free to upload, If you're a DJ or artist and want to upload your material, just go to the main site and follow instructions.
You can sign in to the app using your current DAM log in, if not you'll be given the option to sign-up, don't worry it only takes a few seconds to do.
Once you start using the app you'll notice that you can actually play the app in the background while you use the phone for other things, it's ideal if you want the latest mixtapes on the go.
Please make sure you have a strong internet connection preferably Wi-Fi when streaming, downloading or watching vids. Some files may be large so watch out for your allowance with your provider when using mobile internet.
When you download, the tracks will go into your music folder however the app may not create folders for them, if this is the case you will have to do this manually.
