Daily darshan and spiritual reading is an integral part of our spiritual life. The “Daily Satsang” section on www.baps.org provides a fresh darshan and reading every day. The “Daily Satsang” app has been designed to create the same experience on iPhone and it will also work on iPad.
Features:
1.Daily Satsang as per your time zone:
If you are in New Zealand or you are in North America, Daily Satsang will fetch the fresh data as per your phone’s time zone.
2.Swipe to move between pages:
This application has six different pages – Murti Darshan, Swamishri’s Darshan, Divine Inspiration, Vachanamrut Gems, Prerna Parimal and Today’s History. A finger swipe gesture will allow sequential navigation of these pages.
3.Pinch-zoom gesture for a closer look:
On picture pages, pinch-zoom gesture will enlarge the murti for a closer look of the picture. On text pages, this gesture will enlarge the text for ease of reading.
4.Tap for full screen view:
A quick tap on the page will hide the header and footer of the page for a full screen view the picture or full screen reading of the text. Another tap will bring the header and footer back.
5.Tap and hold to save the picture:
A long tap (Tap and hold) gesture on pictures will allow you to save that picture or copy the text on text pages. The picture will be stored in the default camera roll of the device so that you can easily set it as a wall paper or share on your social network. Text will be stored in the clipboard so that you can paste it in other applications.
In case you have missed Daily Satsang on any past days, you can click on the button at the center bottom of screen and it will take you to the calendar page. Choose the date and click Go for Daily Satsang of that date.
