Welcome to the National Museum of the Château de Malmaison Costume
Collection App.

Let us introduce you to this famous collection of men and women's
costume, dating from the beginning of the 19th century. It has proved
to be a tremendous success with the public.
It consists of Empress Josephine's court dresses and accessories, of
men's suits from the Beauharnais family, mementoes of Napoleon from
the Consular period and from his exile on St Helena.
Due to the sensitive nature of textiles, the permanent collection is
not constantly on public view but only in rotation during a few months
a year.
Thanks to this app you will now be able to admire these costumes
anytime, anywhere and as close as possible of the extremely delicate
execution.

You will also find out how to get to the Château de Malmaison, only a
few steps away from Paris and if you decide to come and visit the
museum you will be able to admire the collection of works of art,
which Napoleon and Josephine Bonaparte patiently gathered, replaced in
their historical background.

We wish you a pleasant exploration !
