Application Description
Finally, a safety and rescue APP for anyone interested in community safety. ComeGetMe has been designed for the user who finds themselves in a situation where they can't use their cell/mobile to call their family or a friend for help. ComeGetMe harnesses GPS technology within the phone to link to a Contact, and link the devices so that you can both see each other's position. Furthermore, as the receiver comes to get you, you will be able to see them on their way to get you, displayed on your cell/mobile. Likewise, your position is displayed for the receiver as a location on the same map display. You see them, they see you. And here is the clincher...

...your friend or family member will see where you have gone too and meet you there.
Consider these three examples...
1. At a party, call Dad to ComeGetMe. There's a fight and you have to leave and walk up the road, 300 meters from where the party is. Your Dad accepts your request to ComeGetMe. As you move, he sees you, and you see him. Dad to the rescue.
2. It's been a big night. A few too many drinks. You message your best friend to ComeGetMe...you can hardly open your eyes, you've had too much to drink. Luckily, your friend can see that you've walked up the road and are now resting in a park. Your friend can now find you, you had no idea where you were. Best friends together again.
3. A young child is at a bus-stop. The child is confronted by thugs who threaten the boy. The boy is forced to run away, followed by the group. Quietly,he pushes ComeGetMe, alerting his parents that he is "in trouble". His father responds urgently and can see that he's in parkland behind the bus stop. As the father is approaching he can see that his son is moving towards a road on the other side of the park. He drives around the road and finds his son. The group leaves the boy alone. Phew...that was close!
