Up to now, Serum COLORCONVERT is the one and only iPhone® app to opt for ICC color management technology to convert the colors of defined color palettes.
All RGB, CMYK and even spot colors are described colorimetrically exactly by means of ICC profiles. Conversion to other color spaces is then likewise performed on the basis of ICC profiles.

For reasons of licensing law, we are unfortunately not permitted to integrate spot-color libraries, such as Pantone©, HKS© or RAL©, directly in the app. However, ...
COLORCONVERT supports not only ICC profiles, but also the open CGATS17 data format, which is used by QuarkXPress©, for example, in the form of ".qcl" files for spot-color libraries.

Not even ICC color management is capable of achieving 100% accurate color rendering on the iPhone© or iPod touch© display. The corresponding color books and commercially available color guides should be used for this purpose. If you attach importance to correct color values, you're better off using our app. :-)
