"Sensibility wreaks even more havoc with art that does the hodge-podge of collections."
Valery proust museum, Theodor W. Adorno

Cnap-n (Cnap to the power of n) is a project created for and from the collection of the Centre National des Arts Plastiques. Cnap-n generates images by inviting the museum goers to browse virtual areas where they can ceaselessly reconstitute random exhibitions from the photographic resources of the collection.
Pierre Giner proposes a curatorial experiment, an actual "Dream Museum", which questions in an oulipian way the art material, the reproduction, as well as the mechanical principle of building up a museum collection : the images that it creates, the visual combinations and approximations, calling forth a genuine work of art, sometimes up to the most distant.
