Application Description
Welcome to Cloud Contacts. The aim of this App is to integrate all address books of various service providers in one place.
The current release supports Google Contacts and Facebook.
Google Contacts is the default address book provider for Gmail, Google Office and other Google software. And it is the default address book for all other Google devices, such as Android, Chrome notebook, Google TV either. The website of Google Contacts is http://www.google.com/contacts.
Feature List:
1.It is an independent address book App for all iOS devices, but has a convenient user interface likes iPhone native contacts. Not only a data synchronous tool.
2.It supports independent multi-account. You can use multiple Google accounts (unlimited count) in one App.
3.It is a data migration tool that can migrate contacts data to your iPhone, iPod, and other iOS devices, etc., with human friendly interfaces of collision detection.
4.It deeply cares information security. The data stored in the service provider such as Google, Facebook, and your iOS devices, and will not be saved in the other third party. This is an important distinction feature between this App and other contacts programs.
5.This App based on Google Data Protocol, which are Google native application programming interfaces. Google also provides alternative protocols (such as Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync, SyncML) in pervious time. But Google had decided to stop those alternative protocols (see Note 1). In this case, some of other programs, which are not compatible with Google Data Protocol will breakdown. You need not care of those unexpected changes if you install this App.

Other Features:
1.Directly call Google Contacts from your iPhone, do not need to open the Gmail page or holding your Android phone. The usage is as easy as iPhone contacts.
2.Synchronous data arranged in groups, do not have to worry about the address book classification confusion.
3.Local editing you can, and the migration assistant (migration address book data to iPhone) have the function of automatic detection of data conflicts.
4.A convenient "Summary" page that can be use to send email and make phone calls.
5.Address book data on the service providers is a read-only access by default, delete the account and group does not affect the original content.
Possible Issues:
1.Google updated the password authentication methods, provides the "2-step verification”. In order to avoid the password validation fail, you should set an application special password for this App if to use this function. Refer to:

2.[For Chinese mainland user] Google contacts are downloaded for too long time and timeout. Google’s servers are in the United States, subject to the environment of the Chinese network, the Google’s servers are often blocked. The solution: When a timeout occurs, retry more times.
