The talking clock was designed to run ALL THE TIME.
Do not run this app directly to get the messages, messages will come from the BACKGROUND.
IMPACT ON BATTERY LIFE is almost zero.
If you also want to run and see the beautiful clock faces, you have to plug in the device.


This is a hourly chime app, to tell you the exact time, which also talks to you in human sentences, cuckoos and chimes or beeps.

Apple style total simplicity in the usage and setup.

- choose the voice or sound. (see the list below)
- choose the silent hours or hourly messages. (see the screenshots)
- turn it ON or OFF whenever you like.

- set the sound level the normal way on the iPhone or iPad

Then STOP and FORGET the APP.
The sound messages will come from the BACKGROUND.

Some examples for a 5 o'clock alert (well, you have to imagine the different accents):

- American English - "It is now five o’clock in the afternoon"
- Arabic - "الساعة الآن الخامسة مساءاً"
- Chinese - "它现在是下午五点整"

- Latin American Spanish - "Son las cinco de la tarde" 

- Cuckoo language - "cuckoo, cuckoo, cuckoo, cuckoo, cuckoo" 

- Grandfather's Clock - "chime, chime, chime, chime, chime"

- One short beep - one "beep" each hour, also vibrates (when set) and flashes the LED light (on certain phones, when phone is in sleep and silent mode)
- Talking Binary CLock - listen to the exact time in silent environments, something like BEEEP,BEP,BEEEP (at 5PM), in a nice and not annoying tone.

For example:
your phone will tell you:
A. at 5:55 PM - it is almost 6 o'clock in the afternoon (ALMOST app)
B. at 6:00 PM - it is 6 o'clock in the afternoon (CLOCK app)
C. a few seconds later - you will hear 6 chimes or 6 cuckoos (CLOCK 2 app)

This is how these 3 apps cooperate. You can set each of these to silent or loud hours separately.
