Q: HOW DO I DELETE CLOAK?
A: There are two steps. First, delete the Cloak app like you would any other app. Next, go to the Settings app > General > Profiles > Cloak and press the red "remove" button.

Q: I WAS USING CLOAK FINE, BUT NOW IT DOESN'T WORK.
A: Chances are that your account has run out of quota. You can check by running the Cloak app or by logging in to your account home page at https://www.GetCloak.com/ Free accounts only get a limited amount of quota per month.

Q: INSTALL SETTINGS GETS STUCK. HELP!
A: Do you have Javascript turned off? Cloak needs it turned on in order to work; go to the Settings app > Safari to check.

Q: I GOT ASKED FOR A PASSCODE WHEN INSTALLING SETTINGS. WHAT'S MY PASSCODE?
A: That's the same passcode you have to enter when you wake your iDevice after a long sleep.

Q: IS IT A PROBLEM THAT CLOAK IS DETECTED AS A "NETWORK SHARING DEVICE"?
A: No, absolutely not. This is a common confusion that people have. Lots of things are network sharing devices. That big coffee shop down the street has a network sharing device -- that's how everyone in the shop is able to access the Internet at the same time!

Q: CLOAK USED TO WORK, BUT NOW I SEE "USER AUTHENTICATION FAILED" WHEN I TRY TO CONNECT.
A: Your account has run out of quota and Cloak is no longer letting you secure your connection. You can verify this by running the Cloak app or by logging in to your account home page at https://www.GetCloak.com/

Q: CLOAK USED TO WORK, BUT NOW MY INTERNET DOESN'T SEEM TO WORK AT ALL.
A: Start by making sure Cloak is off. When Cloak is off (that is, when VPN is OFF in your Settings app), Cloak isn't doing anything to affect your Internet connection. If things continue to not work, did you turn the "Connect On Demand" setting to ON? If so, Cloak may be trying -- and failing -- to secure your connection, leaving your Internet access in limbo. Go back and turn "Connect On Demand" to OFF and double-check that VPN is set to OFF. Still having trouble with your network access? It's not Cloak, but we're happy to help troubleshoot anyway.
