What are you listening to?
Clerkd is a fun and social way to find, play and share great new music whilst making your mark on the world music map. Find music through people, places and our recommendation robot, Clerk. Then every time you press play you'll share what you're listening to with your followers and add it to your current location so others can find it.
Features:
Social Feed:
Follow your "tastemakers" (i.e. your favourite bands, blogs, friends & maybe even your mum?) and see what they're listening to. You can then play, like, comment & add their songs to your playlist.
Map:
See what songs are popular nearby or in any location you want (cities, neighbourhoods & venues). Colours represent genres so you'll always know what's popular wherever you are. Just press play to the location into a playlist.
Clerk's Recommendations:
Our robot buddy,Clerk learns what music you like in different situations (time, location, weather etc) so he can recommend the best songs for you in any situation.
Charts:
Find and play the Top 50 songs in your current location, any city or with your favourite individual or group of users.
Play Music from Spotify, Soundcloud, Vk.com, Jamendo and iTunes preview with more music services to come very soon. You can also download songs through iTunes and play your own music stored on your iPhone.
Check Ins:
When you’re listening to music on Clerkd check-in to your current location (cafe, recordstore, your school or office etc) to add your songs to their chart so others can automatically play the top songs from that venue. When you share to Foursquare you’ll automatically check-in there and share the song you’re listening to!
The Feed is the New Playlist:
In the Feed, Clerk's recommendations, Charts and on the map just press play and the feed will become your playlist.
Connect with Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare and Soundcloud to find friends and share what you're listening to.
Guilty Pleasure Mode:
When you're listening to something embarrassing turn Guilty Pleasure Mode ON and your secrets will be safe.
