Cisco Business Class Email (BCE) provides enhanced email security features including read receipts, email recall, email expiration, and forward/reply control. Additionally, BCE removes the complexity of encryption and key management, enabling users to send and receive secure messages directly from their mobile devices. The two primary components of Business Class Email are confidentiality and enhanced email controls.

• Confidentiality

- BCE encrypted email provides confidentiality during transit and at rest, leveraging the latest authentication technology to make access to encryption keys easy and secure.

• Enhanced Email Controls

Enable complete control over emails encrypted via BCE with the following features:

- Read Receipt: Sender is sent a notification when a recipient decrypts the email for the first time.
- Email Locking (Enhanced Recall): Gives the sender the ability to lock the decryption key, disabling decryption for that email.
- Email Expiration: Gives the sender the ability to set an expiration date for the email.
- Forward/Reply Control: Control whether the recipient of an email can forward/reply/reply all to the email.

• Additional Features

- Diagnostics: Diagnostic information such as logs can be sent from the device for troubleshooting purposes.
