CIGMA 2013 International Conference of Geography and Environment

The National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI), in collaboration with the United Nations Organization (UN), invite you to participate in the CIGMA2013 which will be held on October 7-9, at Centro Banamex, Mexico City.

Introduction
Nowadays, the information demand is increasing in terms of diversity and quality and to satisfy this demand it is necessary to exchange experiences oriented to resource saving and multi-usable data and information sharing with more and more users. Therefore, the National Institute of Statistics and Geography, INEGI, will hold the 2013 International Conference of Geography and Environment at the Centro Banamex, Convention and Exhibition Center, in Mexico City during october 7 - 9, which will bring together national and international experts, public administration representatives and all interested in the territory, environment and society interaction themes.

Objective
To bring about an international approaching and participation atmosphere to encourage cooperation, research and experiences exchange to address new global geospatial challenges.

As an added value, statistical and geographic information integration advances will be shown, as well as the challenges faced in the National Statistical and Geographical Information System building and consolidation (SNIEG).
