Application Description
We are very glad to announce the immediate availability of our native iPhone/iPad app, at no additional cost for existing Chronicle users! This release provides interaction with job contacts, departments, driving directions, technician timecards, and journals. You can download it for free from Apple’s App store right now and access your Chronicle job info anytime, anywhere. This is a public beta, fully functional with more features to come, targeting the direct needs of field personnel:
-- View jobs you’re associated with and search for any job
-- Lookup anyone on a job and call them
-- View which departments and activities are on a job
-- Get driving directions to a job
-- Automate labor entry with technician timecards
-- View existing and create new job journals
We’re excited about all of this and want your feedback as you begin to use it (feedback@gochronicle.com). We’re already working hard on incremental features that add the following abilities:
-- Chronicle calendar integration
-- Email
-- Additional job functionality (surveys, photos, documents, activity completion)
-- Some key features for sales/marketing
-- iPad optimization
