ChainCalc determines the length of a roller chain required given the number of teeth on the two sprockets the chain runs around, the spacing of the two sprockets, and the chain type. Applications include motorcycle and fixed-gear bicycle sprocket changes and power transmission design.

After entering the input data on the keypad the user touches the "RUN" key and the keypad drops away exposing the calculated results including chain length, number of links required and the chain angle. The app also provides a scale drawing of the design.
