PURPOSE: The Takeoff Landing Distance 2 App is used to calculate Takeoff and Landing distances for a given Aircraft under given conditions.

Why only these 38? Because these are the aircraft that I am currently flying. As I get requests to add others I am doing that. Also, these are some of the most popular GA airplanes.

How it works

1. Select an aircraft
- 38 are available

2. Select an airport
- The App comes with a worldwide airport database.

3. Enter conditions
- Wind, temperature, pressure altitude, weight and runways
- If available runway information is filled automatically or can be entered

4. Check the results

Real time METARs for weather
------------------------------
If the airport has a METAR station the current weather can be obtained by touching the "Get WX" button
Internet access is required to get the weather

Options
------------
You can select a default Airplane and Airport to be loaded at startup.
Weather can also be set to load automatically at startup.
Measurement units for Wind speed, temperature, Distance and Weight can be set on the Options page

Make sure that any Takeoff and Landing calculations are verified using the manufacturer's approved flight manual or POH.

Use this information with caution. The manufacturer's AFM/POH must be the source of your takeoff and landing performance information. The information in this App is the best that I can get, but it may or may not be maintained according to manufacturer's information.

In addition the weather information used here may or may not be timely or accurate.

The Subscription Model

The Takeoff and Landing 2 App is a Universal App. The user to buys it once and and gets an App with the interface optimized to take advantage of iPhone and iPad screen sizes. This simply means you can use it on all your iOS devices and it works well on any screen size.

The T&L features in this App are free to use for 30 days. After this time a subscription is required. The Crosswind Calculator included in this App is free to use without subscription.

While using only free Apps some advertising may be shown, if a subscription is purchased the advertising may be hidden.
