The CEO Roundtable on Cancer was founded when former President George H.W. Bush challenged a group of executives to "do something bold and venturesome about cancer." The CEOs responded by creating the CEO Cancer Gold Standard which has become a beacon of hope and health covering more millions of Americans. The CEO Roundtable’s Life Sciences Consortium brings together pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies to work to solve issues common issues in fighting cancer that cannot be solved by any single organization alone. Today, the LSC is a convening and catalytic body working on behalf of cancer patients.
