Each site is illustrated with a terrific photograph that flips to reveal a lively description. For places with phone numbers or websites (for example, the zoo and the bicycle-rental concession), one-touch buttons let you easily connect.
To find a site’s exact location in the park, just tap the Map button; tap again and the iPhone’s built-in GPS will show you how to get there from your current location. It can take you from the Shakespeare Garden to the Ravine, or the Swedish Cottage to the Obelisk, or Pilgrim Hill to the Balto statue. If you don’t have a specific destination in mind, the app can show you everything that’s nearby, which makes it easy to decide what you’d like to see or do next.
