Description:
Central Cost Manager (CCM) for iPad is a complementary app to the web service with the same name offered by Telefonica to its multinational customers. The aim of the iPad app is to enhance the customer experience, providing the access through API’s to the logic of the web tool.
The CCM is a web based analysis and reporting tool offered by Telefonica to its Multinational Customers that provides an integrated view of the global telecom expenses and usage occurred. It aims to provide a mechanism of control over invoices, allowing audit of the billing process and optimization of future expending.
Telefonica’s Central Cost Manager interprets billing information (CDR’s) in a billing reporting tool, and creates reports on billing data (usage, volumes, spend, trends, etc) and also allows the end user to create personalized reports on billing data.
The Central Cost Manager for iPad provides an access to this data generated in Telefonica’s web tool.

User creation:
The user creation process is done in the web tool. Once the access is granted on the web tool, authorized users can access through the iPad app.
Telefonica grants access to one administrator user within the Multinational Company. This administrator user can create users within its company through the web tool, by filling in a questionnaire with the new user’s name, email address and permissions granted. Once submitted, the new user will receive automatically from the system an email with a confirmation code. The new user activates the account created through the online tool with the confirmation code received. Once this process is completed, the user will have access to the CCM through both, the web tool and iPad app.
