Application Description
CEL is a software modeling application designed to best support the initial phases of this creative process.
With CEL you will be able to rapidly create, manipulate, store, process and maintain language agnostic software models.
The user interface has been created using an ad-hoc visual metaphor, created to leverage the modeling activity and based on a matrix. This user interface takes care automatically of all the tedious details (e.g. relationships wiring), leaving the user with 100% of his/her time available for the design phase.
The models created with CEL can be exported in any language of choice. Three languages are natively supported, yet the addition of others is supported and can be done by specifying simple language-specific rules in a human-comprehensible format.
With CEL you are provided with the minimal set of elements necessary to shape an object-oriented system. However, with few elements you can achieve the same results obtained with other modeling techniques which overcomplicate the models.
CEL leaves plenty of space for creative solutions, yet providing the means to easily manage the created artifacts.
