Application Description
CareBeacon will help families who want to monitor the well being of active loved ones. If they stop moving or fall CareBeacon automatically sends a message to designated family and friends.
It works on the iPhone with any cellular service plan and/or on Wi-Fi network.
Provides Peace of Mind
CareBeacon runs on your iPhone in the background. As soon as a problem is detected CareBeacon sends a text message and calls the emergency contacts phone numbers with the phone holders GPS location.
How does CareBeacon work?
CareBeacon monitors even the slightest movement while running in the background on your iPhone.
When CareBeacon detects no movement after a specified time it displays the message “Please activate CareBeacon.” When you move the phone to look at the message or touch a button it will detect the motion and know that you are OK. The message goes away, monitoring will be resumed and nobody will be contacted.
If the phone is not moved or the button not touched CareBeacon will sound a loud alarm, and a light will flash (if available) 15 seconds later. If there is still no response, a text message will be sent and phone call will be placed automatically to your contacts giving your name and location. If you were to fall CareBeacon acts in the same manner.
You may also send one of three manual messages at anytime. “I am OK”, “Please Call Me”, “I NEED HELP!”
It Protects Anywhere
Most monitoring systems only work within the confines of your home. CareBeacon works anywhere there is a cellular or Wi-Fi network. If your emergency occurs in the mall or the garden CareBeacon is able to send the emergency message to your designated contacts.

CareBeacon is very easy to use and follows National Institute on Aging, American Foundation for the Blind and ADA guidelines. You can be protected in a few simple steps. Once running you don't even need to press a button to send the alert. CareBeacon does it for you.
