Once downloaded, the CNE App operates, by and large, without cellular network or Internet connectivity. Content updates, when available, occur on re-launch and certain features may require connectivity for full operation, which include: web browsing; social network status updates; viewing the Haunted Walking Tour YouTube videos; and photo/video uploading. For your convenience, free Wi-Fi is available in several buildings and outdoor locations on the CNE Grounds (see map Category Slider for details). If your device is not set to automatically search for Wi-Fi, it will connect via your cellular network provider. Depending on your data plan, you may incur extra charges for data usage. Please perform a complete shut-down of the app when not in use to avoid battery drain by the GPS features.
