The Campusamp Event Ticket Scanner is an application developed by CampusAmp, Inc as an app to be used in conjunction with our online ticketing service. The way the scanner works is that it takes pictures of a printed QR ticket and registers it off the database. One or more scanners can be used. The app is dependent on internet connectivity, so in the event that connection is lost, only one scanner would work, the master scanner. The master scanner has the full list of all the attendees saved on its local memory and so it does not need the internet as a single scanner (passive mode). However, if more scanners are needed, it is important for there to be good signals where you use the scanners. More on this later on.
