Camera ToolBox includes three main functionalities which are key both for the pro and the enthusiast photographer.

Depth of Field Calculation
Within this function the user can select focal length, aperture and focussing distance. Based on these settings he will get hyperfocal, near and far focus limits and a visual rendering of the depth of field.

Exposure and Bracketing Calculation
All the ingredients for a bracketing set can be defined: mid point, shadows and hilights exposures, bracketing interval and number of shots.
Based upon the value you set, Camera ToolBox will recalculate all others to provide a consistent bracketing set.
Each exposure (mid, shadows and hilights) can be manually set or extracted from a shot taken with the device camera. In addition exposures can be reviewed and ISO, speed and aperture values changed while maintaining the overall Ev.

Zone Analysis
A shot taken with the device camera can be analyzed with respect to the nine luminance zones. As soon as the shot is taken, this is shown on the display together with the actual exposure data and the overall average zone. With a single digit tap the application will highlight the zone which the tapped area belongs to. With a long press Camera ToolBox will shift image exposure so the tapped area exposure will be moved to the overall average zone.

Camera ToolBox allow the user to set his preferences: select whether to use metric or imperial distance units, 1/2 stops rather than 1/3, shutter or aperture priority while calculating exposures and whether to use the standard "d/1500" formula to calculate the camera circle of confusion or the Zeiss one "d/1730"
The user will also be able to setup his "Bag" i.e. define the cameras and lenses which will be used. While camera selection is mandatory to identify a Circle of Confusion and enable depth of field calculations, lens data are useful to narrow down possible aperture and focal length values and set the closest focus distance.
