Official Cambridge English: Starters (YLE Starters) sample paper for iPad. This app allows children to practise for the computer-based Cambridge English: Starters test. It uses real sample test questions and covers all parts of the test: listening, speaking and reading and writing. Children are able to try out the different types of questions using the iPad, giving them confidence before taking the test.

Cambridge English: Starters is the first of three English Language tests for young learners from Cambridge English Language Assessment. The test introduces children to everyday written and spoken English in a fun and motivating way. Children can choose to take the test on a computer or on paper and are awarded with a Cambridge English certificate.

The app is aimed at children taking the computer-based test but also provides very good practice for children taking the paper-based test.
