Application Description

CalPal is a new kind of calendar that makes it simple for friends and family to share events where you can write messages, send photos and view who's attending.

CalPal instantly organizes and provides access to the most important information in your life: your schedule, your friends' and family's shared plans, and the conversations people are having (whether they're coordinating a time to watch TV with a roommate or sharing a photo of sunny blue skies in excited anticipation of a family picnic in the park).

*Functionality
- Removed the pull down control from the calendar that returned the user to the current day. Users can still return to the current day by tapping on the month/year displayed at the top of the calendar
- Removed the "More Options" button from the event creation flow
- When visiting messaging threads, the user will now automatically be at the bottom of the thread instead of having to watch it scroll from the top to the bottom
- Removed the concept of "Favorite CalPals" from the app
- Calendar rows that pertain to an event which has unread comments will now indicate the number of unread comments on the calendar row itself

*User interface improvements
- Increased width of calendar indicator in timeline cells
- Updated the way users are displayed when you are choosing who to share an event with and viewing people's attendance statuses
- Updated the way messages are displayed in event messaging threads
- Updated the appearance of the user preferences page and added a new option to "Tell Friends About CalPal" which composes an email that you can send to recipients of your choosing

*Bugs
- Fixed issue where viewing the attendees of an event while an attendee's attendance status changes causes the page to get out of sync and sometimes crash
- Fixed bug where, upon clicking the "not going" status button for an event, users were presented with the option to leave an event even if they had never joined and, upon trying to leave the event, saw a pop-up informing them there was an error
- Updated Facebook login mechanics
