The art app "Call and response" is an interactive video adaption of the art work The object is performance, 2011 made in connection to Erik Aalto’s exhibition Antidote at Magasin 3 Stockholm Konsthall.

The artist awaits your questions. Simply tap the text field beneath and a keyboard will pop up. Enter your question and press "done." Once he has responded you can enter another.

The release of the app celebrates Performancexhibition at Magasin 3, Spring 2011 for which curator Richard Julin has invited a number of artists to produce work that lands somewhere between performance and exhibition.

The artist Erik Aalto (SWE) perhaps best known as his alter ego Sir Eric Beyond, has been treading the boundaries between performance and music for many years while maintaining his own artistry as Erik Aalto.

"Call and response" by Erik Aalto and "Men That fall" by Performing Pictures are two art apps curated & produced by Magasin 3. The apps are developed by Performing Pictures.
