Application Description
Calitor is a calorie tracker app designed to get you into the app - and out of it - as quickly as possible. There is no need to enter in specific foods you've eaten and endlessly search through databases. Instead, this app allows you to directly enter in your calories consumed through an easy to use button interface. Easy in, easy out. All you do is adjust the number of calories you want to eat per day in the settings panel, and then you're ready to go.
Alternatively, the app has a settings section that will allow you to generate the suggested number of calories for you to gain, lose, or maintain your weight based on a few metrics you provide. This formula is the same one that the British Navy uses to calculate calorie goals for their sailors.
Either way, the app uses an intuitive 'count down' methodology. You're given the number of calories you have left for the day, and you subtract from that amount through the button interface. You always know exactly how many calories you have left and can plan your meals accordingly.
