Application Description
View, share, mark-up and co-view your 3D CAD models with anyone, anywhere!
With this app you have mobile access to all of your CAD models stored in CadFaster 3D model box. CadFaster provides 100 MB of free storage to build your own 3D model box in the cloud.
The iPad app allows users to share, view and even co-view 3D models stored in these boxes. First time in the field of mobile CAD 3D models are available for every one, not just for the professionals.
In CadFaster Collaborate suite CAD models are exported to CadFaster cloud-storage from all major CAD software by specific add-ins/plug-ins. These CAD extensions are currently available for Vectorworks®, Autodesk Revit®, Bentley MicroStation® and SolidWorks®. Add-ins for exporting 3D models to CadFaster cloud-storage can be downloaded from CadFaster website.
CadFaster iPad app highlights:
● Quickly preview all of your models and models that have been shared with you
● Offline state allows the viewing of models when not connected to the Internet
● Share your models with other CadFaster app users
● When others share models with you they can be instantly viewed
● Quick real-time preview of all mark-ups
● Respond to existing mark-ups quickly in mark-up thread view
● Add new mark-ups in real 3D by tapping an object and holding it for 2 seconds
● Host or join model co-viewing sessions with up to 10 participants
Login to the app is done by using your existing Google®, Yahoo® or other OpenID-based account. Please note that CadFaster will not get any access to your OpenID account password or any other private information.
