She was born and in Peoria, IL and raised in Atlanta, Ga. At the age of seven, she knew that singing was something she wanted to do. At the age of 14 she had the pleasure of meeting Super producer/Musician Al Jones and recording and collaborating with several local artists. Working to perfect her craft she began vocal lessons with Jazz Singer Tammy Allen which she went on to Co-write her first song titled (Gone).

Buttafly has had the pleasure of Meeting and auditioning for legendary Kenneth Gant (Bass Player for Midnight Starr). She has also had the pleasure of meeting and auditioning for LaTosha Scott formally of (Xscape) as a background singer.
ButtaFly has performed at Café 290, Redlight Café & Tailgators. She has been in a couple independent videos and has collaborated with a couple local artist such as Kayto Reed, RIVA, ROC, Skipj, 99, & Michelle Ray.
ButtaFly also models and has also appeared in a couple of Hair Fashion Magazines, Black Passions & Xtreme Magazine.

Volunteering is something that means a lot to ButtaFly. In her spare time she always finds time to give back by volunteering her time to the Boys & Girls Club. “I want to give back and I just want to show love.”
