Bushwick Open Studios, now in its seventh year, is an annual event in Brooklyn, New York that gives artists the chance to open their studios for one exciting weekend (May 30th - June 1st).

BOS brings the neighborhood’s thousands of artists and performers out into the streets and in view of each other, community residents, and the general public.

Arts in Bushwick is an all volunteer organization that serves and engages artists and other neighborhood residents through creative accessibility and community organizing. The organization was founded by a group of roughly fifteen local artists and community organizers, most of whom were involved in planning the 2007 Bushwick Open Studios, and has continued to operate on an all-volunteer, non-hierarchical, break-even basis to today.
