British Navy Capital Ships is a detailed source of information for the capital ships of the Royal Navy, from the first battleship through to the modern era, over 100 years of Royal Navy ships. The app is aimed as a historical app and covers capital ships (Aircraft Carriers, Battleships & Battlecruisers).
A must have for any British Navy enthusiast, with over 90 vessels, covering battleships, battlecruisers and aircraft carriers, complete with a photograph of the ship and its technical specification. The specification includes details such as the date, builder, armament, class, propulsion and more for every single ship.
The app includes a brief overview of all 34 classes that the capital ships come under, including those classes that were cancelled or suspended by the Royal Navy. The app also includes an introduction to capital ships, a history of the Royal Navy, a history of the Fleet Air Arm and navy ranks and insignias.
The app now also includes and extra section with information on the current fleet of the Royal Navy. This includes information and specifications of the current ship classes of the Royal Navy and Royal Fleet Auxiliary and also a brief overview of the weapons, vehicles and landing craft used by the Royal Marines.
