Brastel SIP is SIP-based softphone offered by Brastel Telecom, which combined with the company’s Brastel Card allows you to place international and domestic calls at incredibly low rates.
No monthly fee required! Brastel SIP works on both Wi-Fi and carrier’s network.

Important Notes:
- Brastel SIP is for outgoing calls only (calls placed transmits a 050 number).
- Slow Internet connection may affect the quality of the calls (the minimum speed required is 100kbps).
- Brastel SIP cannot be used with Wi-Fi routers or over networks that restrict the usage of VoIP applications.
- Data transfer charges will apply when using the apps over the carrier’s network. We recommend subscribing to a flat-fee data transfer plan.
- Data roaming charges will apply when using the app outside your carrier's network. While travelling outside your home network, we recommend connecting to a Wi-Fi network to avoid expensive data roaming charges.

Brastel SIP version 1.1.10 update information:
- This version is for Brastel Card only (not fully tested for 050 Smart Cloud service).
- Crash issue when placing a call from Contacts that has hundred of entries registered has been solved.
- Explanation about allowing incoming call option has been removed (for Brastel Card users this option must be set to OFF).
- App behavior when receiving an incoming call through the phone’s network: any undergoing call on the Brastel SIP will be automatically placed on hold and allow the user to accept or decline the incoming call. In case the call is declined (or accepted > talk > disconnected), it will be possible to return to the Brastel SIP call by pushing the Hold button.
- Supported devices of this version. Terminals not described on this list are not supported.

Note that although the app is running on iOS6 some problems may still occur (e.g.: iPhone 4 user may experience audio problems when receiving an incoming call through the phone’s network). A version with full support for iOS6 is been prepared and it will be released as soon as possible.
