BrainFreqz entrainment programs utilize various audio techniques including "isochronic tones" and "binaural beats" to entrain brain waves to desired frequencies. Entrainment is the process by which a person's brain waves tend to approach and mimic the same frequency as a dominant stimulus.

This Relaxation program is designed to quiet a busy mind to frequencies in the low alpha range (7 - 8 hertz, or waves per second), then after a 15 minute relaxation period gradually returns the user to frequencies in the high alpha / low beta range, approximately 13 hertz. This leaves the user feeling relaxed, refreshed, but awake and alert, ready to continue the day.
