This app contains some basic information about the annual Boston marathon, held every year since 1897 on Patriot's Day (now celebrated on the third Monday in April). Information includes short bios of key individuals; a list of all the winners of the race over the years; some results from the 2004-2012 races; and some information for runners, including details about the revamped registration process, which favors runners who have run qualifying times well under the maximum time allowed for their age group.

The intention is, as time goes by, to update the app with more bios, more results, more history, and more information for runners.

Note that this app is not affiliated in any way with the Boston Athletic Association, which organizes the marathon.
