As the women’s section of Blast Magazine Online, our goal is to bring you intelligent, witty news from intelligent, witty women in all walks of life. We aim to give you diverse perspectives on everything that means anything to a smart, kick-ass woman like yourself: whether it’s fashion, LGBT issues, mothering, nerd culture, or women’s rights. You can’t be defined by one aspect of your existence, and neither can Bombshell. We don’t want to just talk at you, though. We want you to join the conversation. Yes, the website is owned by a man. John and Jess have spirited debates about the editorial direction of the website, and Jess usually wins. Jess recently asked John if he identified as a feminist, and he said no. He identifies as a journalist. But we say it is pro-feminist for a man to own a website for women.
