The Health Media Today Blood Pressure App allows users to log blood pressure readings and gain insights a feedback from actual doctors.

- An upgrade is available which allows users to sync their data with AwareMD.com, and view results and obtain feedback from qualified physicians.

ABOUT BLOOD PRESSURE APP

The Health Media Today Blood Pressure Mobile Application is the only Canadian mobile application to be endorsed by The Canadian Heart Research Centre (CHRC). CHRC is a preferred provider for the conduct of clinical research in Canada and the United States. The CHRC is a federally incorporated not-for-profit academic clinical research organization dedicated to research and education in the treatment and prevention of cardiovascular disease. Built on a thorough understanding of the clinical trials process, the CHRC offers a unique blend of knowledge of the clinical trials process, an acute business awareness and operation capacities that reliably cut cycle time and deliver quality results.

In addition to the partnership with the CHRC, we have partnered with Anatoly Langer MD, MSc, FRCPC, FACC – to deliver and evaluate results from users who download the blood pressure application

Dr. Anatoly Langer graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1982 and completed his Internal Medicine and Cardiology training at the University of Toronto in 1987. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and Canadian Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons. Currently Dr. Langer is a Professor of Medicine at the University of Toronto and a staff cardiologist at St Michael’s Hospital. He is Chair of the Canadian Heart Research Centre in Toronto. Dr. Langer has extensive research experience in the conduct of clinical trials with over 15 years of experience in protocol design, study coordination and data management.
