BLAG began as a fanzine in 1992, edited and published by British twins Sally A. and Sarah J. Edwards, while the two were students at an art school in the midlands in England. Design & Art Direction is handled by Sally; Sarah is the Photographer. Collectively they write and edit. The duo quickly transformed the publication into a luxe glossy based in London known for its uncompromising quality, innovative spirit and unconventional business model. Lauded for its cutting-edge influence and access to luminaries such as the Beastie Boys, OutKast, Adrien Brody, N*E*R*D, James McAvoy and Queens of the Stone Age, BLAG earned a cult-like following and a reputation for supporting talent ahead of the curve, repositioning brands via creative concepts in film, photography and architecture to opinion forming launch events and as opening DJs for the likes of N*E*R*D and the Foo Fighters.

Still purely owned and run by Sally and Sarah, 2013 marks the 21st Birthday of BLAG.
