From the makers of Astro Bro, here is another awesome new free game for the iPhone and iPad.

Are you sick of this bird craze going on? Flappy Bird, Angry Birds, and countless others have taken the mobile gaming world by storm.

Bird Rage, while also a bird-related game, aims to help you take that frustration out in a fun racing game, with a twist. Think of it like a 2D M. Kart, but with birds.

Choose from four awesome characters (and no, you don't have to pay real money to unlock them!) that are available from the start of the game:

Doodle the rooster.
Flappy the chicklet.
Hootie the owl. (original name, I know)
Squawk the parrot.

You'll have one track available to start. Complete a track, unlock the next track. There are 9 total tracks that you can replay over and over again, even with friends in multiplayer mode!

Once in the race. use the arrow keys in the lower left to maneuver your bird laterally. Use the flap button in the lower right to ascend vertically. Release to go down. Stay alert though, your enemy bird racers may fire weapons at you (that's right, even the AI). And watch out for mines.

When you're shield reaches zero, you're out of the race.

Win races to collect coins, that can be purchase in-game upgrades like weapons, added shields, higher quality feathers (for faster maneuvering).
