Biomed Connect is the first smartphone app that allows clinical engineering and biomedical engineering professionals worldwide to communicate, share ideas and find peer support. The app has three main sections:

Equipment Troubleshooting Chat
In this section, users can post questions and get answers from other users. When you post a question, you will be asked to choose the question’s area of specialty. A push notification will immediately be sent to all users registered in that area of specialty, with the option to view the question and participate in the discussion. Users can also attach photos when posting questions to illustrate parts or procedures.

Forums
This section allows users to open discussions in the HTM field and share ideas and opinions. The section is divided into five subsections:
General clinical engineering topics
Joint Commission
CE-IT
CBET/CCE study forum
Students and career development
Users would also receive push notifications whenever a comment is posted in their threads.

Career Center
In this section Employers can post available jobs. Users can also view and apply for jobs within the app.
