Application Description
BetrSpot allows individuals to post, market, request and trade every type of physical first-come, first-served space, or spot imaginable. Using one's GPS location and a real time, consumer to consumer marketplace similar to Uber, eBay or Amazon individuals can motivate others to leave their occupied spaces or be paid to leave their own. BetrSpot's spot markets work in conjunction with Stripe, a well regarded, payment processor similar to Paypal. (Stripe accounts require the user's Routing and Checking/Savings account number when setting up Spot Posting so have that accessible. Bidding only requires a credit card.)
To get started, simply create a new BetrSpot user account & add in your physical descriptors. Then you can post or request a spot in just about any first-come, first-served location or line. The 'Spot Bidder', or person whom is requesting a certain type of space, pays for the exchange the same way as an eBay style transaction, by inputting their payment information. BetrSpot's fee is paid by the bidder and collected by the credit card payment system the way eBay does but only when both parties confirm there was a successful spot trade. There is no download charge or monthly fee to use BetrSpot. A 10% charge is only incurred when a successful transaction between parties is completed.
