Best Bar None Glasgow welcome venues, large and small, the only requirement being that you can demonstrate that your venue focuses on the key principles of the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005.

In a licensing environment rich in awards, Best Bar None is the only award designed to highlight and share best practice because we recognise one simple fact – The people who work in the licensed trade are the people in the know.

Best Bar None continues to grow in popularity with partner agencies and the licensed trade with more than 485 awards issued to pubs, bars, nightclubs and specialist entertainment venues in Glasgow alone. Since 2005, the scheme has been extended to many other Scottish Cities and Towns and this year a National Best Bar None Award through the Scottish Business Crime Centre was issued in March with three Glasgow venues being nominated and awarded as finalists.
