Autism Apps Behavior Scripts:"Doctor's Office" takes your child step-by-step through the challenging time of visiting the doctor. While these new experiences can be anxiety-filled for the entire family, this new app uses kid-friendly language and illustrations to make "prep time" fun. It not only describes what happens during the visit but is also customizable for your doctor and child, meaning you can upload your own photos! This app was created collaboratively by experts at the National Speech and Language Therapy Center and the Weinfeld Education Group behavior specialists with input from parents of children with autism. They have been field tested and are based on years of successful interventions.
