You have 3 Lives - As displayed in the upper left hand corner
Touch the highlighted bugz on the screen to squash them.
If you do not touch and squash all of the bugz before the next set of bugz show up - You will LOSE a life and it will show up as a bug on the upper left hand corner.
As you kill more and more bugz, more and more bugz will show up and you have less time to kill them before the next set of bugz shows up.
