Become a Beanstalker! Beanstalk connects you to publicly accessible media from all across the Internet, including audio, video, digital photos, live cameras and video streams, digitized books and graphic animations. Sources are podcast feeds, media blogs, media galleries, video and audio streaming services, live cameras and digitized book repositories.

Beanstalk selects and integrates media of many types from many sources into Beanstalk albums, which you can view using one adaptable viewer. This differentiates it from other apps which present only one media type or only provide links to web pages, rather than directly to the underlying content. Currently available albums draw public content hosted or indexed by YouTube, Flickr, Instagram, Bandcamp, LiveStream, Internet Archive, WordPress, Vimeo, StreamFinder and numerous podcast and webcam hosting sites.

Albums can contain multiple tracks, representing separate galleries, episodes, songs, videos, books, cameras, etc. from the linked source. They are re-created on the fly whenever they are selected for viewing and therefore might contain new or updated tracks each time they are played. All albums are free to view and 'grab' as favorites, and to share with other Beanstalkers. New albums and album sources are added to the Beanstalk space daily by its cloud curators.

Beanstalk's AirPlay support enables video tracks to be viewed on HDTVs via Apple TV and audio to be listened to on wirelessly attached devices supporting the AirPlay protocol.

Beanstalk's goal is to provide you with a seamless view of media that interests you, in one place and in a form that is easy to navigate and share. You can use Beanstalk to search, browse and view albums anonymously, or you can join Beanstalk to grab favorites or share albums with other Beanstalkers. Membership is free and requires minimal information (which is used only to enable the grab and share features.)
