Application Description
The BeamBoss™ App is a one of a kind Node Management System for link planning, system commissioning, and link monitoring.. The App communicates with the LawnHopper™ system via WLAN and allows the user to easily align their LawnHopper™ optical-wireless links. The BeamBoss™ App is the perfect companion for anybody who wishes to experience one of the fastest instillations of an optical-wireless product on the market today.

Commission the link:
Connect the iPhone to the node via a wireless access point. Use the BeamBoss™ to control the LawnHopper's built in step motors and move the lasers into position. Activate Auto Search and the units will establish a connection automatically.
The BeamBoss App allows the user to manually align the LawnHopper Optical Wireless link to ensure an optimal connection.
Manual Alignment:
The user is able to use manual alignment to control the direction and focus of the links beam.
Sensitivity:
The Manual alignment option provides the user with 3 sensitivity options to control the beams movement.
Multiple:
Each press of a directional button will move the beam 16 steps in the selected direction.
Single:
Each press of a directional button will move the beam 1 step in the selected direction.
Fine:
Used for fine-tuning the beam alignment and will slightly move the beam in the selected direction.
Focus:
Under the manual alignment setting, the user can also adjust the focus of the beam. This can be done using the Focus (-) and Focus (+) tabs on the screen. With the Focus (-) button increasing the size of the beam and the Focus (+) button making the beam more narrow.
After the User has manually aligned the beam positioning and focus, they can switch to the Auto Search setting.
Auto Search:
This setting allows the LawnHopper units to take control and search for their optimal position.
